I was skeptical about fixing lens flare in post, but the breakdown of how to isolate the sun and build a clean starburst is so clear. The washed-out colors got corrected too, and the whole process took me maybe fifteen minutes once I got the hang of it.

This tutorial finally made shooting into the sun worth it for me. The part about fixing washed out colors and lens flare was exactly what I kept messing up in my landscape shots, and the steps are easy to follow along in Photoshop.

The washed-out color fix alone was worth the price, my sunset shots finally pop instead of looking hazy. I do wish it covered bracketing for really blown-out skies, but the sunstar technique itself is explained clearly step by step.
